Vermont should exempt more housing projects from Act 250 land-use review.
Act 250 requires state review of many larger developments for environmental and community impacts. Recent laws exempted some housing in designated areas, and this would widen those exemptions.

So, we'll again present a package to continue to modernize Act 250. It starts with extending the interim housing exemptions to 2030.
The addition of the Road Rule is a significant expansion of Act 250 that will make it harder to build.
