Wisconsin should create a state-run retirement savings program for workers without a plan at work.
Several states run programs that enroll private-sector workers without an employer plan in individual retirement accounts. Wisconsin does not have such a program.

We need to create a public infrastructure that allows for people to pay into their own retirement savings, giving them the ability to be able to extract those dollars once they get old enough so that they can actually live with dignity and age in place.
