Oregon should require a permit to buy a gun.
Voters approved a permit-to-purchase requirement in 2022, and legal challenges and new laws have delayed when it takes effect. A permit would require a background check and safety training before buying.

I do not support Measure 114. Oregon already has among the strictest gun laws in the nation, including universal background checks and red flag laws.
