Ohio should limit police use of automated license plate reader cameras.
Many Ohio police departments use cameras that record the plates of passing cars and flag stolen vehicles or wanted people. Limits could restrict where the cameras go, how long data is kept and who can access it.

But I want to make sure that we are using the tools that we need to keep people safe. But we can't be doing so at the expense of our rights. And I'm excited by the bipartisan legislation we see moving forward. I would absolutely support that.
