New York should let the state override local zoning to allow more housing.
Towns and cities in New York set their own zoning rules, which control where and how densely housing can be built. A state override would allow more housing in places where local rules now block it.

I think the governor has to understand that people moved to Nassau County, Suffolk County because they don't want density, and that's why they moved out of the city of New York.
