New Hampshire should require background checks for private gun sales.
Licensed gun dealers must run a background check on buyers, but private sellers in New Hampshire do not have to. This would extend the check requirement to most sales between private parties.

Some of my colleagues want to expand the broken background check system we have now. In my view, we shouldn't be expanding a flawed system.
