New Hampshire should encourage local police to sign agreements to help enforce federal immigration law.
Under federal 287(g) agreements, local officers can carry out some immigration enforcement tasks for ICE. Dozens of New Hampshire agencies, including State Police, have signed such agreements, and state law now bars local sanctuary policies.
