Abortion laws should be set by each state rather than by Congress.
Since the Supreme Court's 2022 Dobbs decision, each state sets its own abortion laws. Agreeing means Congress should not pass a national law that either expands or restricts access.

I support codifying Roe at a federal level... legal access to abortion until viability, with exceptions after that when a woman's health is at risk. That's the standard we had for 50 years, and it worked.
I am personally pro-life, but believe the government should not be making health decisions for people.
