Kansas law allows most abortions until about 22 weeks, and in 2022 voters rejected an amendment that would have removed abortion protections from the state constitution. Keeping current law would leave that limit in place.

Kansans spoke very loudly and clearly in August of 2022. I believe it was close to 60% saying that they wanted to preserve access to reproductive health care.
