Florida should keep requiring local police and jails to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.
Florida law requires local agencies to honor federal immigration detainers and bans local policies that limit cooperation. Many sheriffs also have agreements that let deputies perform some immigration enforcement duties.

I would not, as governor, require the 287(g) agreements, because I would trust local law enforcement to decide whether or not that's something they should engage in
