Alaska should adopt a statewide sales or income tax.
Alaska has no statewide sales or personal income tax and relies mostly on oil revenue and Permanent Fund earnings. A new broad-based tax would raise revenue from residents to help pay for state services.

I absolutely don't support new taxes. Alaska spends one of the highest amounts on government per capita than any other state in the country.
